In my homeschooling days I had a weekly post called “Wordless Wednesdays.” It was always just a photograph that I had taken from my collection that highlighted a beautiful thing or moment from the catalogue of living.
I miss doing that! It forced me to go through my photos regularly, keep them organized, and to consider things that had happened that were “lovely and praiseworthy” in my life.
I have decided to revive the habit—I will do Wordless Wednesdays here, as well, but they may not be completely wordless, as some limited explanations may be necessary, but I would like to highlight photos that reflect the beauty of the pilgrimage of our Orthodox life.
I’m not a professional photographer, but my husband and I enjoy capturing a pleasing image. I hope you enjoy this addition to The Accidental Pilgrim.
Today’s entry is from my husband’s pilgrimage to Georgia last year, taken at the hermitage of St. Gabriel of Tblisi.
Recognized the photo right away ❤️
