Hi Kelly!

I did a search for orthodox writers on substack (my current favorite place to be online) and found you. I’m reading from the very beginning because personal stories of conversion to orthodoxy are what I’m hungry to hear as I feel myself rather unexpectedly drawn to it after being “homeless” the last three years and a denominational “mutt” prior to that. Like you, I’ve spent time in almost every branch of Protestantism and cannot seem to bring myself to enter back in. My husband, 6 kids and I attended an Anglican Church this morning for the first time and it was lovely. But I’m also not sure it’s the final stop on this journey. Deeply appreciative of your transparency and witness.

Hi Kelly!

It has been a long time, we knew each other from CC back in Woodbridge VA. It is Tiffany. I have 4 children (young adults now). I have enjoyed all your writing over the years. I am embarking on a bit of a a journey of faith myself and I am so happy to have found your writing again. Thank you for sharing.

Hey Tiffany! Of course I remember you, and it seems hard to believe that we are parents of adults and not children anymore! It seems to be the times (or age?) we're in--I know so many people who are confronting questions of faith and searching for the Truth. I pray your journey is fruitful. Thank you so much for posting.

Hi, Kelly. My name is Shelley. I found your blog a couple days ago by just doing a search in Substack. I find myself increasingly drawn to orthodoxy over the past year. I grew up in AoG through my entire childhood and a good portion of my adult life. Over the past 7 years we've branched into a non-denominational Calvinist church. I seem to be questioning everything. I think that's less to do with the current church and more to do with church in general leaving me feeling an emptiness that seems hard to explain. Anyway, I'm enjoying reading your journey.
