I read this Mary series and there is so much to consider. When I read part 3 I felt a sorrow that I had not considered her more. And even now, still in my protestant church and continuing to seek, I can't unknow this. ~Shelley
I really resonate with your comment, Shelley. I remember those thoughts and feelings from not so long ago. I kept thinking "You're responsible for what you know." It is the mercy of God that he introduce us to his mother, Panagia, who is the "Saint of Saints". I highly recommend listening to a series on the mother of God on Ancient Faith Radio by Fr. Thomas Hopko called Who is the Theotokos? (link here) https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/fr-thomas-hopko/id1681290878?i=1000607900024 He is much, much more eloquent than I could ever be.
Thank you for the podcast recommendation, Kelly. I have listened to a few from Ancient Faith but have not come across this one yet. I will listen to it.
